Restaurants- Click        -The restaurant industry huge business on the beach.  People go on vacation and a lot of the time they do not want to cook themselves.  My suggestion to you is, during the summer months if you are going to go out for dinner, go out no later then five.  When I mean go out at five, I mean be at the establishment at five.  You will save yourself a lot of waiting around.  For Buffets be there no later then three o'clock.

Movies-click    -During the summer there is sometimes no better way to relax then to go to a movie.  First off, its a good way to cool down and a great way to get away from any unwanted person that you might be living with.  Yes I said it, but as much as we all love our extended family there is always someone that we need to get away from....at least for a little. This is a highly recommended form of relaxation for a couple hours during your week.

Fitness-click   -Not for everyone however, it is a big part of my life.  If you need to go to the gym to work out here are some places that you should consider.  All the gyms are equipped with ample enough equipment to give anyone a complete workout so you can eat as much as you want on vacation.

Golf-click     -There are plenty of golf courses on the Outer Banks.  However, if you are going to play in the summer months then you better have a tee time reserved.  If you do not ,then do not even think about walking on.  Most Golf courses in the summer book up very very rapidly. So make your reservations early.

Watersports-Click    -Want to get away from the beach but still want to enjoy the water, then head to Sunset Grill and Watersports in Duck.  Waverunners, pontune boats kayaks and more.  It is a great way to enjoy the afternoon then have lunch on the Outside tiki bar.....trust me I will see you there.

Fishing-Click    -A favorite of the Outer Banks locals is to just relax and fish.  Nothing is more relaxing then a person and their fishing pole down by the water.
